We flew Bobby's mom up to watch Caleb, but took Micah with us. This was his first plane trip and he did amazing -
Here he is sleeping on the (luckily) empty seat between us.
Our first day there was just traveling and getting settled in. Then we had the rehearsal and dinner. Of course, Caleb got passed around at dinner. Here he is with Marie -
And the mother of the bride (who needs a grandkid soon!) -
Even our waitress held him for a while and later on in the evening she actually rocked him to sleep!
The next morning we went to Waffle House for breakfast - yummy!
While we were there, Micah was sitting in his car seat on a high chair. It some slipped and tipped over - we caught him, but not before he bonked his head on the table. So sad!
Later that day was the beautiful wedding. Here's Micah waiting for the ceremony to start -
Bride and father -
Bobby had the opportunity to officiate the ceremony - his first wedding! He did an amazing job and it was such an honor. This is the only picture I got of him - I think his eyes are closed because he is praying.
Listening to Bobby -
My view of the last half of the ceremony - I had to move back because Micah started making some noise - it was such a beautiful setting for a wedding.

Listening to Bobby - My favorite picture of the happy couple - they are newly married and laughing as they are dodging bird seed.
Getting ready to leave -
The bouquet toss on the way out - Shawna threw it over the heads of all the girls and some old guy caught it!
The next day we went to church and then hung out in downtown Atlanta for awhile. The coolest part (literally and figuratively) was the olympic park and this cool fountain.
That night we went with Los (whose house we stayed at while there) to this authentic Southern BBQ place. It was perfect - in an old barn, live music, great unhealthy food, and in the middle of dinner the thunderstorm started!
It was a wonderful weekend and we were so thankful that we were able to go and celebrate with Shawna and Simon - congrats to you both! We know God will bless your marriage!
